It’s difficult to underestimate the level of change the electronics manufacturing and the global supply chain have undergone as a result of COVID-19. As we navigate these shifts, we are forced to do so in a virtual setting, which for many of us is not the norm and can result in fatigue and uncertainty. And yet, we’ve seen incredible innovation and inspiring stories of people and organizations in the industry rising above their circumstances to innovate and serve this moment.
As we move towards a “next normal,” Supplyframe is excited to launch a new type of virtual roundtable sessions, called Supplyframe Executive Insights (Supplyframe EI). Hosted by recognized supply chain expert Richard Barnett, with participation from executives and thought leaders engaged in the global electronics value chain, this series offers an exciting platform to share insights in our digitally connected community.
Timely Discussion and Unique Perspectives From Industry Leaders
Supplyframe Executive Insights seeks to reinvent and reinvigorate the virtual discussion and roundtable space by bringing together electronics manufacturing and supply chain executives into a format that fosters meaningful discussion and timely insights for an industry that needs direction to move forward.
As part of this series, we’ll also provide a deeper understanding of the Design-to-Source Intelligence (DSI) lifecycle and how supply chains can align themselves with demand and establish resiliency for the next major challenge.
Our first virtual roundtable is coming soon! On September 1st we will welcome Richard Barnett, Chief Marketing Officer at Supplyframe, to host a panel of two other industry leaders:
Bindiya Vakil, CEO of Resilinc, is a founding member of the Global Supply Chain Resiliency Council, and a member of the Advisory Board of MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics. Vakil holds a master’s degree in supply chain management from MIT and an MBA in Finance.
Sanjay Baliga is a Co-Founder and Senior Partner at Vichara Partners, a global advisory group. Before founding Vichara Partners, Baliga was the Director of Sustainable Manufacturing at the global industry association, SEMI. Baliga holds degrees from Stanford University, the University of Michigan, and Yale University in academic fields.
Richard Barnett is the Chief Marketing Officer at Supplyframe. He is passionate about driving industry supply chain transformation through new forms of intelligence and decision making. Prior to joining Supplyframe, he held a variety of senior leadership roles at supply chain and procurement solution providers such as LevaData, GT Nexus, E2open, Microsoft, and i2 Technologies.
Discussions are held in a professional streaming environment that leverages broadcast capabilities to deliver an engaging discussion for panelists and viewers alike. Register today for the first panel, “Lessons in Innovation: Digital Transformation During COVID-19,” on September 1st!
